Wondering what items are dropping in the next couple of weeks? We’ve got you covered

The latest update for Fortnite, patch 4.5, was a doozy, adding the brand-new Playground mode and a bunch of quality-of-life improvements. But hidden among the data files was also a glimpse of the skins, backbling, gliders and emotes we can expect to see in the coming weeks.

Twitter user @TwoEpicBuddies ripped the data files from the version 4.5 update and discovered quite a number of new unlockables. It seems that in addition to the superhero theme that’s been running through season 4 of Fortnite, there’s also a detective theme on the way.

As an added bonus, tying in with the detective theme, it seems we’ll be getting a new submachine gun, styled after the Prohibition-era favorite “Tommy” gun.

There’s no telling how long it’ll be before these new items hit the game, but it’s fair to expect them before the next patch rolls around (probably before the end of Season 4 in a couple of weeks.
