Wii or Dolphin

I'm moving soon, which means I'll get a chance to rearrange my living room setup. Space is already tight under my TV, and with a new console generation coming I should probably make some room. With all my consoles packed up already, now is a good time to decide what goes under my TV and what stays in its box.

I'm going to have an HTPC as part of my setup, and since I'm already using it to emulate some of my older consoles, I'm wondering if I should save a little space by emulating my Wii too. But before I go spending money on a bluetooth dongle and wireless sensor bar, I figure I should ask those of you who have used the Dolphin emulator before a few questions. How good is Dolphin at emulating the Wii? How compatible is it? Any downsides I should know about?

Basically, would Dolphin serve as a good replacement for my Wii, or should I just stick with the little white box?
