Journey will be available on PC for the first time ever.

The indie adventure game is on its way to the Epic Games Store. It was originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2012, developed by thatgamecompany and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Journey follows a robed figure wandering through the desert, traveling toward a mountain in the distance, with a focus on a sense of wonder and smallness. Players can interact with others, but interaction is limited to a simple musical chime, which is a key through progressing on levels. The entire game can be completed in two to three hours, but packs an emotional punch.

The focus on visual and auditory art, as well as its emotional response, garnered thatgamecompany much acclaim, and Journey won several game of the year awards.

Journey on Windows PC will be distributed by Annapurna Interactive and will be available to purchase on the newly launched Epic Games Store, though a release date is not currently set.
