The Wolf Among Us 2 has resumed development, according to LCG Entertainment, which resurrected the game’s original publishing brand Telltale earlier this year.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is the first new Telltale game to be announced since LCG bought up the rights to the Telltale name, after that company’s demise in 2018.

The game is being developed by AdHoc Studio, which is made up of former Telltale Games employees. Developers on the project, who were part of Telltale’s original The Wolf Among Us team, include directors Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart, writer Pierre Shorette, composer Jared Emerson-Johnson, and voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette.

The Wolf Among Us: A Telltale Games Series launched as a five-episode season in October 2013. Based on the Fables comic book series by DC Comics’ Vertigo label, it told the story of a murder investigation. Its sequel was troubled by Telltale’s financial problems, and was ultimately canceled.

The Wolf Among Us 2 will be released on Windows PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive and on unannounced consoles. No release date has been announced.
