After five months of getting heat for the misplaced catering order, Emilia Clarke finally rises from the ashes to tell the truth.
On Wednesday Night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Clarke revealed the true origin of the anachronistic Starbucks cup. Turns out, she didn’t know whose it was till around the Emmys, when Conleth Hill, who plays Varys, approached her during a party and confessed to the cup sins.
“It was Conleth’s coffee cup! He said so. He was like ‘I think it was. I didn’t want to say anything because it seemed the heat was very much on you.’ And I was like WHAT?!” she recounted to Fallon.
Aha! Twas Varys who left the cup upon the dining table! DAENERYS INNOCENT!
