After two games spent trying to confine the world's favorite wall-crawler, Beenox is finally letting him swing free in The Amazing Spider-Man, a sequel of sorts to the forthcoming film. The Activision studio isn't stopping there, they've also supplied Spidey with a new "Web Rush" ability that lets him acrobatically traverse the city and stealthily bring down thugs.

Producer Doug Header explained the new mechanic and revealed the surprising roots of Spider-Man's unorthodox fighting style.
