BioShock franchise creator and Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine is in the running for Time's Top 100 Most Influential People poll, the magazine revealed today.

Levine and Zynga CEO Mark Pincus are the only game industry representatives on the list, standing among stiff competition including Barack Obama, Tim Tebow, Rihanna, and Mustafa Abdel-Jalil. They're also up against LMFAO, which is actually more than one person, as well as Kony 2012, which is not a person at all. If plural, non-human entities are allowed in the running, we're not sure that the odds are in Levine's favor. His work is pretty influential, but not quite as influential as "Amazon Prime," or, perhaps more abstractly, "Computers."

You can vote for whether or not you think Levine (and his 99 competitors) belong on the list. We've reached out to Levine for a comment about his perceived chances in this poll. We've also reached out to Bruce Springsteen, Kim Jong Un and Ron Paul, because we are very, very well connected.
