We've been shuddering with anticipation for the sequel to Octodad, last year's indie charmer from the DePaul Game Dev program. The students responsible for that project incorporated under the banner of their new dev studio, Young Horses, and today revealed the official title of the tentacled follow-up: Octodad: Dadliest Catch. We should have warned you to sit down before reading that, because there's a good chance you might swoon into unconsciousness from the all of the cleverness.
According to a trailer released alongside the moniker, the game will be released on PC, Mac, and Linux in 2013. Check out the video below to get a taste of the super-floppy adventure that our cephalopod hero is in for, or download the original (for free!) to get a hands-on briefing on what it's like to be an octopus capable of human love.
