Another Eets coming from Klei Entertainment

There will be a follow-up to Eets, according to Jamie Cheng, the founder of Klei Entertainment. Following a panel in which he discussed the studio's sidelined MMO brawler Sugar Rush, Cheng briefly mentioned the project. The original Eets, released in 2006 for PC, followed by ports to XBLA in 2007 and Mac in 2010, is a 2D puzzle game similar to Lemmings. The player directs the titular Eets through a treacherous terrain of adorable platforms by placing obstructions in his path.

Eets and its variations took five years of development at Klei. Cheng confessed he thought his excitement for the series had been drained, and admits he's surprised by his enthusiasm to return to the series.
