Medal of Honor: Warfighter hits October 23rd, first trailer released

EA has released both the official release date and first trailer for its recently revealed, redundantly-titled shooter Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The game's initial October launch window has been narrowed down to a specific day: October 23rd, the shared launch date of both the North American and European versions of the title.

The trailer, posted below, shows off a bit more stealth and tension than you might expect from such a brashly-named game. Up until the halfway point, it's all soldiers poking their heads out of bogs and super-pretty, Frostbite 2-powered environments. Don't worry, though, because after that, every single thing in the trailer simultaneously explodes.
