The title has had a rocky path to release, as it was once a reboot of the True Crime franchise before being canceled by former publisher Activision. Best Buy, GameStop and Amazon have all revealed their store-specific pre-order bonuses for the title, including Best Buy's bundle of in-game moves inspired by MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre (who worked as a consultant on Sleeping Dogs). GameStop is handing out police-themed gear as well, while Amazon is offering a slightly more general "Martial Arts Pack."

Square Enix also promises to announce exclusive content for the downloadable PC version of Sleeping Dogs in the months to come.
