Darksiders 2 delayed.
Darksiders 2, originally slated for a June 26 release in North America, won't be hitting stores until August, the developer said today, blaming the delay on the need for more time to polish the game and remove bugs.
Specifically, the news, posted on the official Darksiders' blog, says the delay has nothing to do with their work on a WiiU version of the game for that platforms launch, nor on the layoffs that hit the publisher earlier this year.
Darksiders 2 is scheduled for an August release on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, according to the post. The release date will vary by region. Those exact dates will announced at a later date.
The developers say the game will not have anything cut from it and reiterated in a question and answer section on the page that the only reason for the delay was to make the game better.
