God of War: Ascension trailer and box art leaked

God of War Ascension trailer leaked.

Amazon.com published a listing for God of War: Ascension ahead of an anticipated announcement from Sony about a new God of War game.

The listing includes non-final box art for the game as well as a 15 second teaser and a longer trailer showing the series' main character, Kratos, writhing in chains. The trailers do not show in-game footage.

The listing description reads: "Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far."

Sony is expected to officially announce the game tomorrow. The publisher left a clue on its Facebook page yesterday by posting a banner that read: "Will vengeance bring redemption? 04.19.12".
