NBA Baller Beats will combine the long separated sports and rhythm genres when it launches exclusively on Xbox 360 this fall.

Developed by Majesco Entertainment, the Kinect-based title requires the player to dribble a basketball — a real-life, tangible basketball — to the rhythm of tunes from artists like Kanye West, Tiesto, Run DMC, Gorillaz and more. It's not just about keeping the beat; a USA Today preview says that players will also have to perform specific maneuvers while dribbling along with each track, like passing between the legs, doing a crossover or faking a pass. (Keep a firm grip, though, because TVs are not great at catching things.)
