Pokemon x Nobunaga's Ambition will make the trip to North American Nintendo DSes June 16th, though its title will be changed to Pokemon Conquest, Nintendo announced today.
The title, which previously was only announced for release in Japan, mashes up the monster collection mechanics of Nintendo's infinitely profitable Pokemon franchise with the turn-based strategy of Nobunaga's Ambition, perhaps making the Japanese title a bit more appropriate. Still, we're sure there's going to be a lot of conquesting going on as well.
The game contains over 200 different Pokemon for you to dragoon into the service of your feudal army, many of which are drawn from the series' latest core installment, Pokemon Black and White. It doesn't sound like you'll be able to bring your Pokemon over from the original games, so that Mewtwo you've been training since the late 90s will have to stay put, for now.
