The launch trailer for Rockstar's Max Payne 3 shows the various, uninviting scenarios in which the titular protagonist will find himself when the game launches next Tuesday, May 15th.

The trailer sees Payne thrown into the clink, into a night club gunfight, into a rooftop gunfight, and into a spiral of self-destructive drug and alcohol abuse. In short: it's a game that's not going to be very liberal with the feel-goods. Unless you're using "feel-goods" as a euphemism for pills, because, oh man, there's going to be so many of those.
