The launch of Diablo III is off to a bumpy start in Asia after reports of players being greeted with an error when they try to access the digital version of the game.
Posting on Blizzard's official message board, a member of the Diablo III community noted that everyone in the Asia region who tried to access the digital version of the game received the message "Error 12 - No license attached". In Korea, Blizzard employees known as Game Masters (GMs) have been manually flagging digital accounts to allow them to play as there is currently no other way for Digital Editions to access the game. The post also reports that in Taiwan, there are currently no GMs around to flag accounts.
Throughout the course of the evening the servers were shut down and rebooted twice but the error remains unfixed.
In the EU players are also experiencing errors, but they are related to servers being over capacity. The most recent report from Blizzard says that EU players are now able to get into the game.
