The first episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead adventure game series has been purchased over one million times across its various platforms, the developer announced today.

The Walking Dead's first episode has been available for a little over two weeks now on PC, Mac, PSN and XBLA, the latter of which has seen the game take the top sales spot for two weeks running. An iOS version of the episode is slated to drop this summer, as is the series' second episode, Starved for Help.

Telltale CEO Dan Connors voiced his pleasure at the sales milestone in a press release, saying, "The most exciting aspect of getting off to such a great start is that this is just the beginning of the five episode series. The Walking Dead fans are going to experience some really great moments in the months ahead that are uniquely influenced by the choices they make throughout the season."

We just hope none of those decisions come back to haunt us. Or, you know, eat us.
