The first round of Sega Ages Online games will hit Xbox LIVE and PSN on May 23 with the second round arriving May 30.
The first round of Sega Ages Online games will hit Xbox LIVE and PSN on May 23 with the second round arriving May 30.
The retro collections, which dig into Sega's back catalogue of games, will kick off with Alex Kidd, Miracle World, The Super Shinobi, Super Hang-On, Wonder Boy Monster Land, Wonder Boy V Monster World III and Monster World IV. On PSN, these will be priced at 600 yen each (approximately $8 at the time of writing) and on Xbox 360 they will be split into two collections valued at 800 Microsoft Points. The first collection will consist of Alex Kidd, Shinobi, and Hang-On. The second set will include the Wonder Boy games.
The second round of titles arriving May 30 will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and include the Golden Axe Collection, which consists of the 1989 arcade Golden Axe game and the Genesis/Megadrive version of Golden Axe II and III, and the Streets of Rage Collection, which includes the first three games in the series. Each set is valued at 800 Microsoft Points.
