Atlus is bringing Persona 4 to the PS Vita in North America this fall in an expanded, portable version of the original.
Persona 4 Golden sees a range of enhancements and the addition of new content to the original game that was released in Japan and North America in 2008 for the PlayStation 2. The game promises remastered visuals, more voiced dialogue, new story events, new Personas, additional anime cutscenes, and an online rescue feature.
Atlus have also said that the game includes tweaks recommended by fans.
Originally released as Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, the game was a critical success that stood out for being an unconventional Japanese role-playing game that explored sexual themes.
Until its release this fall, Persona 4 Golden can be pre-ordered from GameStop in the US, EB Games in Canada, and Amazon.com. At the time of writing the purchase links were not yet available.
