For the past five days on his personal blog, Gilbert has revealed pieces of character art for a project he and developer Double Fine recently, puzzlingly teased to the press. Today, Sega of America released an image of a nighttime landscape with a large chunk missing. Segabits discovered soon after that the pieces of art from Gilbert were actually more puzzle pieces, which slot into Sega's image perfectly — as seen above.

We've contacted Sega to find out anything we can about their relationship with the project. Keep in mind: This isn't the Double Fine adventure game that brought in $3.3 million from a Kickstarter campaign. If that were the case, you think they'd have the money to do their own damn jigsaw puzzles.

The next level of puzzles.
