'Mass Effect 3' Rebellion Pack DLC arrives May 29, free to Online Pass owners

First Mass Effect 3 DLC to release next week in North America and Europe

Mass Effect 3's Rebellion Pack DLC will release next week in North America and Europe, BioWare community manager Eduardo Vasconcellos confirmed on the official blog.

The multiplayer pack will make its release to PC and Xbox Live worldwide and to North American PSN on May 29. European PS3 owners will be able to access the DLC the following day.

The pack includes new Firebase Jade and Firebase Goddess maps, Quarian, Vorcha and Phoenix classes, as well as three new weapons. In addition Rebellion will feature new in-mission objectives to retrieve packages and return them to a designated extraction zone, in between fighting waves of enemies.

This DLC pack was originally unveiled last week by PlayStation Asia before quickly being taken down from the website.

Mass Effect 3's Rebellion Pack is free to Online Pass owners.
