Jet Set Radio will be released on the PS Vita, alongside the 360, PS3 and PC — its previously announced launch platforms.
According to a Sega press release, the renovated version of the game will bring updated graphics, as well as touchscreen-based spraypainting to Sony's handheld. There will also be camera integration — we're hoping we'll be able to transform our JPEGs into spray-PEGs. Folks who are planning to attend E3 next month will be able to try out the portable version of the Dreamcast vandalism sim at Sega's booth.
"The fan reaction to our recent reveal of Jet Set Radio has been incredible!" said Sega VP of Digital Business Haruki Satomi. "As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation Vita are proving to be a perfect fit."
The press release didn't reveal whether the PS3 and Vita versions of the game would be a singular cross-platform download, but the presence of the Vita-specific features means it isn't very likely.
