The Japanese games industry magazine Famitsu revealed in its latest issue that Shin Megami Tensei 4 is coming to the 3DS

The Japanese site Sinobi, which receives Famitsu early, tweeted:

"With the release of SOUL HACKERS just around the corner, it looks like Atlus has begun development on SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI IV for the 3DS. And it's a numbered entry in the series. it's likely the official site will open tomorrow (megaten4.jp)."

An ad that appears in Famitsu (pictured) confirms that the game is in the works, but it does not verify whether the game will be available on other platforms.
