'NBA 2K13' to release October 2, coming to Wii U at later date

NBA 2K13 heading to North America on October 2 and Europe October 5.

NBA 2K13 will release October 2 in North America, followed by a European release on October 5, 2K Sports announced today.

Users who pre-order the title for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will receive a new downloadable NBA All-Star content package featuring add-on content set in Houston, the setting for the upcoming 2013 NBA All-Star game. Players will be able to stage their own NBA All-Star events including the Foot Locker Three Point Shootout, BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

NBA 2K13 is set to release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii and PC. A version for Wii U will be available at a later date.
