DOA5 world championship tournament to kick off at the conference.
Tecmo Koei America announced its E3 presence will spotlight Dead or Alive 5 with hands-on demos and the kick-off of its pro gaming tournament series.
The tournament, presented in collaboration with the IGN Pro League, will be hosted across all three days and qualify the first set of finalists for the DOA5 "I'm A Fighter" world championship. The fighting will continue through the summer, with the final round occurring alongside DOA5's September release. Aspiring fighters can sign up for the tournament at Tecmo Koei's booth.
The Tecmo booth will also play host to two externally-developed titles. Pokemon Conquest for the Nintendo DS, a spin-off crossover of Pokemon and the Japanese series Nobunaga's Ambition, features feudal warlords battling for honor and glory with Pokemon from all five of the series' generations. The second title is Nippon Ichi America's Mugen Souls, a strategy RPG about a goddess who seeks to take over the world.
