Insomniac Games are working on a new Ratchet & Clank title to help celebrate the series' 10th anniversary this summer, studio CEO Ted Price announced today.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be a "fun-sized" Ratchet adventure released as a download game on the Playstation Store. The game will feature a return to the series' classic third-person camera, feel and weapons, while "innovating and giving you a whole new way to play," according to Price.
Price goes on to write that the game will include online features as well. Separately, he noted that the Ratchet & Clank Collection's price and release date along with a "special surprise for North America" will be announced in a couple of weeks.
While we don't yet know much about Full Frontal Assault , called QForce in Europe, fun-sized certainly makes it sound as if the game will be similar to 2008's Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty, which ran about four hours.
