Play Skulls of the Shogun, Super TIME Force and Spelunky at Polygon's E3 party

Skulls of the Shogun
Skulls of the Shogun

Play three great upcoming Xbox Live Arcade games at Polygon and The Verge's pre-E3 party.

People of Earth! More specifically, the subset of those people of Earth who plan on being in Los Angeles this Sunday, June 3rd should not miss our pre-E3 party hosted by The Verge and Polygon. Not only will we have opportunities to drink booze and socialize, we'll also have video games to play should drinking and socializing disagree with you.

These are not just any video games, mind you. We're going to have three spectacular unreleased video games on hand: 17-BIT's Skulls of the Shogun, Capy Games' Super TIME Force and Mossmouth's Spelunky. Skulls of the Shogun will be playable at Microsoft's E3 booth, but if you can't make it to the show, you'll have the opportunity to play 17-BIT's Xbox Live Arcade strategy game in our company.

To whet your appetite for early video game playing opportunities, here's an exclusive new trailer for Skulls of the Shogun. Within awaits helpful background on the turn-based strategy game and at least one amusing Altered Beast reference.

Now that you've seen that, you're likely canceling your previous engagements and saying out loud "Tell me more about this Polygon on The Verge party so I can play video games!"

Well, thanks to our friends at Snapdragon by Qualcomm, we'll be hosting an evening of adult drinking, schmoozing, music from DJ Trent, giveaways, and video game playing at Broadway Bar in downtown LA. Festivities kick off at 7 pm at 830 South Broadway.

(Keep in mind that attending a bar in Los Angeles requires one to be 21 years or older.)

See you there!
