Creative Assembly's next Alien title coming to next gen platform
Creative Assembly's upcoming Alien title is being developed for the next generation of consoles, according to a job listing posted this week to the studio's website.
The advert for a multiplayer/gameplay programmer seeks an experienced employee to work on a "triple-A multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe." Responsibilities include the development of online systems for the title, ranging from lobby chat to gameplay modes.
Creative Assembly's action-based Alien title was first confirmed by the studio in May of last year, however little information was offered in the months following.
The studio's publisher SEGA previously enjoyed success with shooter Aliens vs Predator in 2011 and also has Aliens: Colonial Marines in development at Gearbox.
Creative Assembly is best known for its work on the Total War strategy series.
