A video game trademark filing for "Star Wars 1313" might reveal some details for an upcoming entry in LucasArts' lightsaber-swinging franchise.

A video game trademark filing for "Star Wars 1313" might reveal some details for an upcoming entry in LucasArts' lightsaber-swinging franchise.

The trademark, which was filed last week by Lucasfilm and discovered by Siliconera today, is slated to be used for "video game software, computer game software, books containing puzzles and games, action figures, on-line entertainment services for computer and video games, and online social network services." As is usually the case with trademarks, no firm details about the title were revealed.

Siliconera also points out that LucasArts was hiring a console-certified designer in February to create a "new way of connected online gaming that is going to revolutionize the industry," which lines up with the trademark's online purposes.

Of course, it's also worth noting that "CT-1313" was the alias used by Boba Fett while hiding out on the mercantile planet Aargau in the novel Boba Fett: Maze of Deception. Everyone knew that, right? Like, that's pretty much common knowledge at this point.
