The worldwide television premier of the extended Halo 4 trailer will air tonight during the England vs France Euro 2012 finals, Microsoft reveals.

The trailer, which was first shown during the Microsoft E3 keynote in Los Angeles last week, will air during half-time on ITV at approximately 5:45 p.m. GMT.

Fans should expect to see stalwart Master Chief on the planet Requiem about to face an unknown threat that forms the center of the Halo 4 campaign. Set in the aftermath of Halo 3, Master Chief is said to return to confront his own destiny.

Halo 4 is scheduled to release November 6 on Xbox 360.
