Sure, you know you should be reading. All your friends keep saying how inspired they were by Eat, Pray, Love or Tuesdays With Morrie or The Bible, but to you, it all seems to be just staring at a bunch of squiggles on a page! Is that really the best way to spend this precious gift of life? We submit it is not.

Luckily, Sony used its E3 keynote to announce the Wonderbook, an augmented reality application for the PS Move that makes those boring squiggles into a toy begging to be played with.

SCEE's Dave Ranyard walked us through the Wonderbook's first application, the Harry Potter-themed Book of Spells. When you purchase the disc, you'll get a free copy of the book, which will work with all the other applications. It's unclear whether or not the book will be sold separately. As Ranyard points out above, Book of Spells supports just one Move controller per game.

For the flagship title, Sony enlisted the help of series creator J.K. Rowling to create the stories the book presents in 3D space. In one example you'll see above, the story manifests as a 3D puppet show emanating from the titular spell book.
