Apple's social gaming service, Game Center, will be getting some attention when the next version of iOS is released this fall. The company highlighted two new updates coming to Game Center during its WWDC keynote address earlier today.
The first is Game Center challenges. Players will be able to send challenges to those on their Game Center friends list. Think of it as one-touch high score bragging. Challenges can also be associated with achievements, if that's more your style.
The second Game Center update will allow users to sync their Game Center friends list with Facebook, which should make finding real-world friends considerably easier.
iOS 6 is planned for release sometime in the fall, though a developer beta has been made available today.
