Majesco Entertainment makes its second quarter fiscal 2012 report public.
Zumba Fitness developer Majesco Entertainment reports net revenue for the 2012 second fiscal quarter is down from last year's $32.1 million to $30.4 million according to its annual fiscal results.
However, the company found success in international revenue which grew 100 percent to $6.5 million, which made up 21 percent of net revenue during the second quarter. Since April 30 of this year, Majesco nearly doubled in cash and cash equivalents, growing from $18.5 million to $31.7 million.
As revealed by the publisher, sales were driven largely on the strength of Zumba Fitness 2 and the release of Zumba Fitness Rush for Kinect.
The company expects fiscal 2012 full year net revenue in a range of $130 to $140 million.
Majesco's announced product lineup for the third quarter of 2012 includes Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends for Nintendo 3DS and Double Dragon Neon on XBLA and PSN.
