God of War: Ascension Collector's Edition is scheduled to release simultaneously with the standard edition, according to Amazon.com.

A Collector's Edition of the upcoming God of War: Ascension is available for pre-order on Amazon.com, and suggests users can expect to see additional DLC for the unreleased game.

The Collector's Edition, which is priced at $79.99, includes an exclusive 8" Kratos Statue, a premium steelbook case, an official digital soundtrack, a PS3 dynamic theme, a PSN avatar pack, multiplayer double XP unlock, and a pass for future DLC content.

According to the website it will be available March 12, 2013, alongside the release of the standard version.

God of War: Ascension is a series prequel that tells the origin story of Kratos, who is revealed to be a former captain in the Spartan army before allying with the god Ares.

The Collector's Edition was first revealed by Sony during E3 earlier in the month.
