Nintendo UK general manager David Yarnton today announced his decision to leave the company to pursue a career change after 20 years working with Nintendo throughout Australia and the UK.
Nintendo Europe president Satoru Shibata will now work alongside the Nintendo UK management team until a replacement is hired, MCV reports.
Yarnton is the latest to leave Nintendo UK for new opportunities, following marketing head Dawn Paine's move to Universal last March, marketer Rob Lowe moving to a senior marketing role for BBC worldwide a few weeks ago, and UK communications chief Robert Saunders moving to Apple last year.
