Final Fantasy VII may see an updated release for PC.

Final Fantasy VII may getting an updated PC release on Steam, according to a Google cache of the domain, which is registered under the name of Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada.

The cache reveals a number of additions to the original 1998 PC version, including cloud save support and 36 new unlockable achievements. The post also mentions a feature called a "Character Booster," a system that sounds akin to microtransactions, that allows players to raise characters' HP, MP, and gil to maximum levels. The price of the game is listed as £7.99 / €9.99, or around $12.50.

Polygon reached out to Square Enix for confirmation, and a representative told us, "Regarding Final Fantasy VII - We don't have any news or information to announce at this time."
