Activision has announced a Mac version of Call of Duty: Black Ops is underway for release this fall.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is being developed for Mac by Mac game publisher Aspyr Media, and will be available in both boxed and digital versions this fall, Activision announced.
In addition, all four packs for Black Ops DLC are scheduled to arrive on Mac later in the year.
In celebration of the announcement, Aspyr Media is discounting all Call of Duty Mac titles for 50 percent off its normal price in the Mac App Store, Aspyr's GameAgent Store, and participating retailers. These include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty: Deluxe Edition, and the Call of Duty Mac app.
Treyarch-developed Call of Duty: Black Ops was originally released in 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
