'South Park: The Stick of Truth' launching March 5th

The show's creators discuss creating the goofy RPG and reveal its release date.

THQ's upcoming South Park RPG has a new subtitle -- The Stick of Truth -- and a release date of March 5th. At Microsoft's E3 press conference, the game was introduced by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of the popular cartoon.

Parker and Stone took the stage at Microsoft's event and talked about their work on the game thus far. According to the creators, it's the first time they've had to actually map out the city of South Park.

Not ones to miss the opportunity to crack a joke, Parker and Stone also wisecracked about the SmartGlass technology introduced by Microsoft earlier in the press conference.

A trailer from the conference revealed that South Park: The Stick of Truth will launch on March 5th, 2013.
