'Sim City Social' announced for Facebook

Sim City Social is coming to Facebook, EA Maxis announced today during the EA E3 press conference.

This casual take on Sim City was originally rumoured in May, after EA registered domain names for the upcoming title.

Sim City Social marks EA's push into the world of casual gaming, following the release of Facebook title The Sims Social in 2011.

The game is scheduled to release later this month.
