Nintendo shared a handful of its "23 games" coming to Wii U this year in a short video montage. One of those games was – surprise! – Mass Effect 3. The original Mass Effect was an Xbox 360 exclusive, published by Microsoft Game Studios. It later came to PC. Its sequel, Mass Effect 2, was released first on Xbox 360 and PC and later came to PlayStation 3. And the conclusion to the series, this year's Mass Effect 3, came to both Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 all at once.
And now, with the announcement of Mass Effect 3 for Wii U, Electronic Arts has managed to turn this one-time exclusive series into a massive multiplatform hit.
Other games included in the montage included Darksiders 2, Tank! Tank! Tank!, Tekken Tag Tournament, Trine 2: Director's Cut, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.
