The Wii U will be getting a new karaoke franchise called Sing. Developed by FreeStyleGames, the makers of DJ Hero, Sing allows friends to gather around the TV and make fools of themselves across a variety of pop songs.
Nintendo premiered the game during the company's 2012 E3 press conference. The debut trailer showed off the ability to read lyrics off the Wii U GamePad, so that singers can stand at the front of the room, facing out into their friends as they belt their hearts out. The trailer also showed off a Wii U-friendly microphone attachment.
Sing is currently a working title, so the moniker may change as it nears release.
