When Dust 514 brings the world of EVE Online to PS3 as a free-to-play shooter this year, you'll be able to expand the experience even further if you have a PS Vita. Using the NeoCom app, you'll be able to access your character on the portable device, tweaking their loadout, buying new gear and chatting with friends.

The way executive producer Brandon Laurino put it to us, you'll fundamentally be able to access all of the game's functionality save for the actual FPS battles. Developer CCP also revealed that its upcoming beta will start admitting the public on June 29th. Players who sign up here will be admitted by lottery.
