The 2D action side-scrolling, tactical combat game with no linear path, A Valley Without Wind, received a major overhaul today with its version 1.2 update, which adds new systems and improvements.
The free update which can be downloaded by anyone who owns the game adds a new city building system, reworks the crafting model, and improves level progression.
City building now takes place on the game's world map and the importance of non-playable characters has been upgraded so that they can dispatch missions, give gifts and reflect the unique attributes of the time period.
The update also adds more music, a hundred new rooms, new unlockables, the addition of an incinerator, and ghost copies of items.
The complete list of post-launch updates and their release notes can be viewed here.
A Valley Without Wind is available on PC and Mac and an extensive demo can be played here.
