Metal Gear Solid 4 will get trophy support in upcoming patch.
Classic Konami game Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will gain Trophy support with an upcoming patch, according to Hideo Kojima.
As reported by Famitsu, Trophies will rear their head in a new version of the game scheduled to release in Japan this August. Users who already own a copy of Meta Gear Solid 4 will be able to download a patch with the Trophy data, alternatively.
Kojimi also reveals Konami will hold a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Event on August 30th at Tokyo Midtown, a complex that houses Konami's main office. During the event Konami will make an announcement related to a new title which relates to connecting people. It is said that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's "Transfarring" feature served as a test for this.
