A limited-edition Halo 4-branded Xbox 360 console will be available alongside Halo 4's November 6th launch, Microsoft and developer 343 Industries announced today at San Diego Comic-Con.
The official announcement, which came during this afternoon's Halo 4 panel, confirms a previous leak.
The $399.99 bundle includes a Halo 4-themed 320GB Xbox 360 with custom sound effects; two Halo 4-skinned controllers; a wired Xbox 360 headset; and a copy of the standard edition of Halo 4. The console's ring of light and the Xbox Guide button on each controller will glow blue instead of green. The bodies of both the console and the controller are translucent. In addition, the bundle comes with tokens for exclusive Xbox Live avatar content and in-game DLC.
Microsoft is also selling a different Halo 4-themed controller. The UNSC-branded gray/white controller will retail for $59.99, also starting November 6th.
Update: Microsoft has provided us with some glamour shots of the bundle and controller, and you can check them out in the gallery below.
