Blizzard and the Australian Cyber League are partnering to host the Australian and Oceania finals of the StarCraft 2 World Championship series this August.
Held over the weekend of August 11-12 at the Australian Technology Park in Redfern, Sydney, the top 18 players from Australia and New Zealand will compete for the opportunity to represent the region at the world finals in Shanghai, China, later this year.
The Australian and Oceania tournament will be the biggest of its kind that Blizzard has ever held in the region, with a combined prize pool of $250,000.
