QuakeCon 2012 lineup announced.

QuakeCon 2012 will kick off on August 2nd and feature playable demos of Arkane Studios' Dishonored and the DOOM 3 BFG Edition, organizer id Software announced this morning.

Con-goers can attend panels featuring id Software executive produer Marty Stratton, president and CEO of Insomniac Games Ted Price, writer Chet Faliszek and developer Tom Leonard from Valve, and Spike GameTrailers host Geoff Keighley. Attendees can also peruse the show floor's spread of exhibitors.

General admission for QuakeCon is free, and the panel schedule will be announced soon. The BYOC – "Bring-your-own-computer" – LAN party will run from Thursday, August 2nd at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, August 5th at noon.

Polygon will be on-site for coverage of all your QuakeCon needs.
