Ubisoft is adopting a Season Pass system for offering out DLC in Assassin's Creed 3.
Ubisoft is believed to be introducing a Season Pass for DLC content in Assassin's Creed 3, according to a letter sent to GameStop stores picked up by Kotaku.
The Assassin's Creed developer is putting together a sub-group to work on the development of new content to follow the October 30th release of Assassin's Creed 3.
"We are currently in the process of creating a complementary development team that will begin working on post-launch episodic content to continue the Game of the Year experience that Assassin's Creed 3 will undoubtedly deliver," the letter reads. "With a dedicated team specifically to this content we plan to set the bar for quality DLC in our industry."
A Season Pass will be made available soon, which will allow users to access future DLC at a discounted price.
"We know you're familiar with the 'Season Pass' concept and, beginning shortly, we'll start to take pre-orders of our very own. We'd love your continued assistance in informing pre-order customers that a better value is available for those who pre-order Assassin's Creed with the 'Season Pass'."
Assassin's Creed 3 will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, with a version for the Wii U to release later on.
