"Rock Band" and "Rock Band Reloaded" for iOS will be removed from the App Store on July 31st.
Rock Band and Rock Band Reloaded for iOS will be pulled from the app store on July 31st due to the licensing contract's expiration, EA announced today.
Rock Band Reloaded players began receiving notifications that all Rock Band apps would be removed at the end of the month. In May players received a similar notification, which EA confirmed as an error. Since then the contact between EA and Harmonix for use of the Rock Band title has expired.
Previously purchased songs that have been stored on a local device or backed up with iCloud will still be playable, but new songs will not be available for purchase.
